Has any show been hurt more in history by the film than DEH?

I was an unabashed fan of the stage production of Dear Evan Hansen, and judging by the nearly unanimous critical raves it received (and I just went back and double checked) "I was not alone" in my adoration of the musical, which I first saw at Second Stage and then, I believe, three times on Broadway. So I began to wonder if any show in history has been hurt more by its screen production than DEH (and of course the pandemic didn't help either). By way of history, it opened on Broadway in 2016 and closed in November of 2022, a year after the film made its unfortunate debut. I began to wonder if, without the film, it would have survived the pandemic easily and might still be running today. I'm sure that I'll get pounded for this, but I think there's a good chance that it would still be going strong. And does anyone think that there's a better than 50-50 chance that the show will be revived sometime in the next five years or so?
