| The thought of one of my children dying and having someone fill the "gaping, painful hole in [my] family" by lying, in particular fabricating things about my child, is sickening to me. Having that happen, and having a character like Evan is fine, but I feel the writers failed all the characters in the way they continued/ended the show/didn't really deal with it. I felt this way the first time I saw the show. I didn't hate the show for that reason, and I thought Platt (in DC) was amazing, but I was thinking about Connor's parents through the end, not Evan. |
