| Save yourself from this abysmal show. It starts with a cancer diagnosis and the rest is a flashback to the life and times of Tammy Faye. The only real laugh in act one is a MAGA joke. That’s correct. Act One ends with Jim’s affair with Jessica Hahn. Christian is terribly miscast. Did nobody ask, “How do we go so deep into Jim’s private life when this is all supposed to be through Tammy’s eyes?” It’s all just abysmal. I say with utter confidence that the audience hated the show and it will close within weeks of opening. |
