No show is a finished product until it has been officially 'frozen' which sometimes only happens close to the time when critics are invited in (a day or two before officially opening).
There is no way to test material that has been revised and know how it will land until you put it in front of an audience.
I don't think they will need to rewrite the show in full as the score/script in London were relatively strong so yes, I think whatever isn't working is likely quite fixable. They are on a reduced show schedule until the week before opening so yes, I would imagine there will be plenty of changes. |
