Yes and no.
Same show to an extent but after the London run it went into redevolopment with 2 songs cut, a new one added and a fair amount of changes to the book. It also has an enhanced design - similar to London but much bigger and more automated. Choreography/staging was also rethought AND even if the show were the same, it has, aside from the leading lady, an entirely new cast who are adjusting to the show in previews.
I cannot fathom why, given those circumstances, people expect perfection from the word go. If that was how it worked, there would be no need for previews. |
