I would love to hear comments from anyone who saw the original production of "I Remember Mama" the musical. I can only base my opinion on the studio recording - which I think is wonderful! Sally Ann Howes is, as always, in incredible form (as is just about everyone else - especially the great George S Irving) but she's singing near the top of her range at times. I suspect from the reviews that Liv had trouble with the score but maybe seeing her act the role made up for it (?) Thanks! | |
