| I was lucky enough to see all four of Liv's Broadway appearances-had been a fan since being stunned by her in The Emigrants.My favorite stage performance was her breathtaking Anna Christie with John Lithgow-she was just wonderful in that and also as Nora.She certainly tried her best as Mama,but the show was pretty bad-seemed like Richard Rodgers was still stuck in 40s and 50s time warp,as if his former partner Sondheim hadn't revolutionized the musical theater in the last decade. But Liv did ALL she could to breathe life into it.A genius actress |
