| I have never thought Liza was too accomplished a performer to play Sally. Unlike her mother, Liza always had this push-y, trying-to-please energy which was part of her outsize charm and fits Sally, in my opinion. And it’s what makes all of Liza’s Sally so heart-breaking. | |
