| My take on it is that Liza was simply better as a live performer. Also Cabaret really marked the end of the era of major musical movies that Liza could have excelled in. Musical movies have had a resurgence since 2002's Chicago. She would have had another major hit if that movie was made 25 years earlier and she would have gotten a chance to do it. |
