| Chromolume, I have to confess I have never seen Streisand's earliest films like Funny Girl, Hello Dolly, or On a Clear Day, but in the films I've seen her in, she doesn't strike me as having that "please like me" energy that Minnelli has. If anything, she often seems a bit removed. Did Streisand seem different in her earlier films? I would say that her earlier recordings seem more inviting and warm than her later ones. |
