| While promoting her new movie, ''The Fabulous Four,'' Midler adds doing ''Hello, Dolly!'' on Broadway was ''a dream come true, the peak of my life. I do think that was the greatest thing I ever did. All those people who had been following me all those years, screaming for Dolly. It was overwhelming.'' A shame Midler didn't do a number on the Tonys, so she could share ''Dolly'' with all her fans, especially those who couldn't make it to NYC or afford it. |
