No, that would not be the case.

But a couple of "well-meaning folks" on here - maybe you were one of them? - were up and down bemoaning that oh no, if we change the category to gender neutral, then we'll have two men winning everything and wouldn't that be terrible for gender equality, therefore it was better to keep the categories gender-specific.

And as we have seen now for two years running, that is not the case. I expect we'll see all kinds of permutations of winners moving forward, which is how it should be.

But also, if it does keep being female-dominated, that tells us something about who was really being privileged by split categories.
