| “An elderly Marion”? Well, Middle-aged, maybe. I, for one, enjoyed the Jackson Music Man. I don’t think The Music Man is a particularly great show to begin with. I find it nearly inconceivable that the original production won the Tony over West Side Story. But it’s a good show, and an entertaining one, and I didn’t mind the liberties that were taken (except, maybe, for that silly tap dancing). |
