| Yes, The Great Gatsby is absolutely a smash hit. And, in my opinion, a great production. I’ve seen it twice. Jordan isn’t theater-only (he’s done notable TV and film) but he is a legit theater star. People have bought tickets to see him. Also- I think people underestimate the title and source material. It’s a story people are familiar with and that is selling tickets. | |
