| Sutton Foster *starred* in not one but *two* tv series... for multiple seasons each, and she barely makes the cut to me as a TV star or TV name or a draw from TV. She is, but is she? Jeremy Jordan definitely does not make the cut as a draw from TV. I think most people who know him from TV also know him from Broadway. Yes, the TV stuff he's done is extremely helpful, but I don't think it had much to do with selling tickets to a show he's in. But hey, I could be wrong. Either way, he is a theater star who does not work exclusively in theater. Unlike Eva, who does, so far, to my knowledge. And so the show basically has no star name involved, to audiences who don't follow Broadway of the last 10 years specifically, except the title. |
