Understood. I guess I was thinking more about the type of musical theatre people who may post out here - many of whom I assume are interested in new recordings as well as the original or classic ones.
I always welcome new recordings, though never lose sight of the originals. Some, like West Side Story for instance, have never been bettered IMO, no matter how many recordings there have been.
