| I don't know if "she hated performing" but, as bicoastal posted, she very clearly did not WANT to perform live, even one song. And the comparison with Streisand is not accurate. Streisand hated doing the long run of FUNNY GIRL and then simply never acted onstage again. But she continued giving concerts for decades afterwards, something Day NEVER ever did once after she started in movies. | |
