Yes but Streisand only returned to doing concerts for the money....she has clearly stated in interviews she does not enjoy performing live
And if movie roles hadn't dried up I think she never would have even done those concerts...
Now that movie roles seem to have finally dried up for Meryl Streep maybe she will return to the stage(in the last few years she has only done ONLY MURDERS)
Actors are odd ducks....the stage is why they are usually drawn to the business..but success elsewhere often keeps them away often for good..Not all of course...Pacino, Lange etc keep returning to the theatre, they don't have to.. they want to. I wonder if Day hadn't made back the money her husband squandered if she would have started singing live
