| Hello everyone bells are ringing remains one of my favorite musicals from the 1950s. A few fun facts about the show 1 a new opening number had to be added so the audience knew they were saying a musical comedy and not a labor play. 2 the then married couple Larry parks and Betty Garrett play the leading roles eventually. 3 the hit songs are primarily in the second act. _.4 conden and green had known Judy Holliday years before they wrote the musical for her.
