| My very first Broadway musical! I took the subway into Manhattan and bought a $2.00 standing room ticket. My life was changed forever. Judy Holliday was incredibly wonderful in it, and I wrote my first fan letter, thanking her for such a great experience, seeing a Broadway musical. She wrote back, sending me an autographed picture and a note card. I bought my parents tickets for it for Christmas, and they loved it, too. It's a great show, seldom done now, but what a terrific score it had. |
