| I don't remember saying that I didn't find that book to be very credible, but perhaps I did. I read it a number of times when I was around 12 and 13. Anyway, I just borrowed it on Internet Archive, and I don't see anything in the section on Bells Are Ringing about a new opening number being added so that people would know that they were watching a musical and not a labor play. Maybe I'm missing it. Sometimes I miss things. What page is it on? Or tell me the first words of the paragraph in which the statement appears. |
