The biggest snub ever, IMO, was the entire season of musicals in 2000-2001 save for The Producers. I'm not going to go award by award and say who I think should have deserved to win, but I do think it's fair to say that something other than The Producers should have won something. I don't think that show was so incredibly deserving of everything, and I think the voters must have gotten caught up in the hype. I remember watching the awards that night and feeling more and more that that production crashed everyone else's party. It actually began to feel mean-spirited and selfish to me, to be honest - even though no one was really solely responsible for the results.

But I mean, if you really want to talk about snubs - this year isn't it. And I'm not even sure that the year of "egregiously overlooked" Victor Victoria (with Andrews declining her award) was such a snub. But the 2000-01 season certainly was.
