I think you'll find minor support at best for Jane Eyre winning Best Score, even over The Producers, which is a delightful and clever score for a wonderful musical everyone loved... even if it's not especially impressive as a score. The Full Monty is the one that had a chance to win Best Score over Producers that year.

Actually I'd say Seussical was snubbed for Score... it's a wonderful score, and I'm not sure I understand how A Class Act was even eligible, as it was made up of songs written for other musicals by Kleban who died 13 years before A Class Act was even conceived ...
It shouldn't have been eligible or nominated, and Seussical should have gotten that slot. But The Adventures of Tom Sawyer definitely had its fans and could have gotten that slot too.
