Dude, I was expressing an opinion while replying to a post with which I agree. I don't give a fuck if anyone here supports my admiration for Gordon's beautiful, underappreciated score or not. The Producers was a very funny, terrific show, almost definitively cast, with top notch performances, hilarious book, outstanding choreography, and Stroman's masterful direction. I enjoyed Brooks' score. It was funny. The lyrics were clever, but I think the scores of Jane Eyre, The Full Monty, and Seussical were better. I agree that A Class Act should not have been nominated for score. My comment (which included the proviso YMMV) was about its orchestrations.
