| ''Wicked'' received SAG nominations for Outstanding Cast, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, (surprise!) Jonathan Bailey and Stunt Ensemble. Really good morning for Bailey, who got 2 nominations for ''Wicked,'' plus a third SAG nomination for Outstanding Cast for Netflix's ''Bridgerton.'' ''A Complete Unknown,'' the Bob Dylan biopic, received SAG nominations for Outstanding Cast, Timothy Chalamet, Edward Norton and Monica Barbaro. ''A Complete Unknown's'' cast nomination includes two Tony winners: Norbert Leo Butz as Alan Lomax and Dan Fogler as Albert Grossman. Following with 3 nominations: ''Anora'' and the musical drama ''Emilia Perez,'' for Outstanding Cast, Karla Sofia Gascon and Zoe Saldana. And Netflix's adaptation of August Wilson's ''The Piano Lesson'' landed a single SAG nomination for Danielle Deadwyler as Berniece. (On the TV side, ''Shogun'' ruled, and Cooper Koch should've gotten a SAG nom, instead of Javier Bardem, for his tour de force in the Menendez mini-series.) |
