| that song is a classic. Linda left MAD SHOW early in the run as she got cast in ALICE. Marcia Rodd replaced her. It opened in the middle of a transit strike and Lindsay had just taken over as Mayor. I was a friend and still am of JoAnne Worley and became friends with MacIntyre Dixon and we are very close and he and his son are like my family. I spent many a time at the show..... Jo Anne gave me a skirt that Linda wore in the show. The town in Whales does exist in fact there was something on line that show the sign. I have seen Linda perform many times on Broadway and performing at Birdland. Knew her a little bit. She is very talented and did many movies and television shows as well. ALICE is still shown on tv on a cable station and have watched it many times. She will be missed. RIP |
