London theater this month, what's must-see?
Posted by: Chazwaza 10:57 pm EDT 09/02/24

Any must-see things for someone who hasn't seen anything currently running?

Current list includes:
The Baker's Wife
Guys & Dolls (how different is the experience standing vs sitting, and does anyone know what seats the TodayTix rush give you?)
Fiddler @ Regents
My Neighbor Totoro
Dr. Strangelove

I'm curious if Starlight is actually a good production. If this incoming Benjamin Button musical has any buzz/acclaim? Is the Fawlty Towers play actually good and funny or cash grab? Word on the new play Giant about Roald Dahl with Lithgow? How about Hello Dolly? I've heard so much mixed to negative stuff about this production with some raves sprinkled in. Is this Kiss Me Kate special?

Etc.

interested in plays and musicals, new and old.

thanks!!
