| If you're going to Starlight Express expecting to see the original production, you're going to be disappointed. The original Apollo Victoria production was changed just a few years after opening and it's continually changed since then. This production is much more like the Bochum show, where it has been changed/updated every few years. No one really goes to see Starlight for the plot, in which there are many holes. if you look closely enough) But as a fun, entertaining night out, it's great. I saw the AV production many times and loved it. This isn't that but it's still fun. I am amazed to see another production of Starlight in my lifetime, when i never thought i would. I enjoyed this more than I did Guys and Dolls, which i thought was overdone and didn't live up to the hype at all. |
