| Yes it's prettybelle the jule style Bob Merrill musical that is so controversial. It shocked the boston-audiences. There is a reconstruction CD and mAny still enjoy it. The title character sings you never looked better to her husband at his funeral! The wonderful Angela Lansbury did this originally but who could do it at on encores! ? The title character wants a black man to Raper her as retribution for the way Southern whites had had treated blacks. Sc |
