| Sondheim Recurring Melody Phrase in Different Shows |

Okay maybe I'm a little slow but it seems like Sondheim rarely has an unintentionally recurring melody fragment in different shows. My ear is a little slow to pick up on things like this so maybe it happens more often than I've noticed.
The one that I noticed last night is found in the following lyric fragments:
"...never see Johanna no I'll never..." from SWEENEY TODD (Epiphany)
"...Changing it keeps changing I see towers..." from SUNDAY IN THE PARK (Beautiful)
