| Oh sure, I've heard. But I've never actually heard that Joe and Dolly were at odds, or that she was displeased with his production of 9 to 5 (outside of it not running longer i'd imagine), though of course it may be true that she was. But assuming she was satisfied, he is super acclaimed, successful, has done a variety of types of musicals and directed her original musical already. And he's gay. Lol. Bart is not. It seems a gay director, if she's going with a man, seems a more obvious choice for this kind of thing -- but I'm being silly, I don't think it matters. I don't really see Joe or Bart as especially suited to a bio-musical about Dolly Parton. | |
