9 to 5 was one of the most offensively bad things I have ever seen on Broadway. Every joke overplayed and so many moments screamed "remember that funny thing in the movie????? Here it is again, but bad and unfunny"
And wicked isn't much better, esp. in terms of direction. I couldn't get over badly and awkwardly the tinman transformation was -- let me just go behind this giant closet set piece and NOTHING IS HAPPENIGN TO ME!! JUST NORMAL CLOSET STUFF!!! Definitely not stalling to cover a costume change!!"
