| The NYTW was, in essence, merely a pro-rated rental home for MERRILY's commercial producers. This production had been developed and presented in London and Boston before it wound up on the NYTW stage. Probably a no-brainer decision to include it in the season (and hopefully grab a nominal royalty from the Broadway production), but to claim that the NYTW had any artistic impact on the production would be incorrect. | |
