| I'm curious to know if R&H allows theaters to drop the two charm songs in SOUND OF MUSIC at the director's discretion? Because they are not in the movie I know a lot of people who are surprised when they see the stage show and hear them. (I know they feature in incidental music in the film, particularly at the ball.) There are some changes in the film that I like- "Goatherd" being sung with the children rather than the Mother Abbess most particularly- but I do miss Max and the Baroness being robbed of any musical contribution. | |
