| ...I'm not a young man. I'm in my 40s. But, I've heard the Bee Gees playing in my childhood home since I was a toddler and I have never, in my life, picked up an LP sleeve or CD insert and read their lyrics. But I have had zero difficulty understanding those referenced lyrics. I'm deeply suspicious of the notion that supposed inability to make out a lyric here or there were the defining reasons for that snub. It was probably good old generational fuddy-duddiness. (sp?) |
