Personally, for years I thought 'More Than A Woman' was 'Bald Headed Woman"
I'm sure we all have some of these. (The technical term for such a misheard lyric is a "mondegreen.")
I used to think that Cher's "Believe" was about promiscuity. As in "do you believe in love after love (after love...)" And, I could have sworn that the Go-Go's wrote a hit called "I Love Cecile" - before I found out it was "Our Lips Are Sealed." |
