| (I realize you didn't directly ask me, but jumping in anyway) That is part of it, for sure. But in this production in particular, Baby June is extremely, overly expressive (her singing is not good, and I know that is on purpose) and not-Baby June does the thing where she opens her mouth super super wide and holds it there, similar to what some do in competitive cheering and child beauty contests. It didn't work for me. |
