Well, maybe I didn’t consider that about Sigourney Weaver because I thought so little of her performance. I thought she was shockingly amateurish. She played a movie star the way a bad high school actress “plays a movie star.” And she IS a movie star.

Obviously Durang calls for a heightened, absurdist reality, but I thought she was kind of embarrassing and hard to watch.
