Anyone else there tonight?
I knew this "daring imagining" (their words) wouldn't make the purists happy... but will make it anyone happy? At about two and a half hours, it was genuinely hard to sit through at times. A shame, because even with a pared down orchestra of five or six, there were some lovely musical moments, and several lovely voices in the cast. |
