Presents A Concert: BROADWAY BY THE DECADE, Musicals of the New Millennium (2000-2009) One Night Only! Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. The Saratoga Civic Theater, 13777 Fruitvale Ave, Saratoga, CA Tickets On-line at: see link below, then click on “select seats from map” Having presented eight concerts highlighting the Broadway Musicals of the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, we move on to the musicals of 2000-2009. The concert will feature songs from the hit shows, like AVENUE Q, THE PRODUCERS, HAIRSPRAY, THE FULL MONTY, and WICKED, as well as songs from less well-remembered shows such as AMOUR, GREY GARDENS, CRY-BABY, SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS, THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER, WOMAN IN WHITE, and DRACULA. Further, it will feature songs from musicals that didn’t reach Broadway until the 2000s, but might be familiar from earlier regional or Off-Broadway productions - shows like THE FROGS, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, and ASSASSINS. The cast includes some of the best musical theatre performers in the South Bay Area: Stephane Alwyn, Michael Amaral, Afton Bolz, Andrew Cope, James Creer, Jennifer Cuevas, Lauren D'Ambrosio, Karen DeHart, Cami DeMarco, Dan Galpin, Adrien Gleason, Juliet Green, Matthew Hall, Michael Hirsch, Carly Honfi, Anthone Jackson, Justin Kerekes, Ryan Liu, Walter M. Mayes, Mary Melnick, Corey Miller, Ryan Oliver, Brian Palac, Tim Reynolds, Michael Rhone, Yaadi Erica Richardson, Braden Taylor, Alicia Teeter, and Megen Vo. Jay Steele hosts.
