| Having had friends who have worked both on Broadway and the West End, the reason why the West End is better for producers is because actor pay there is abysmal. The actors on the West End cannot make a living wage solely on their theatre earnings. Wouldn’t it be nice if some of that producer money went into the wallets of the hard working actors who make the shows happen? |
