I don't think there's systematic reporting of grosses for the West End like for Broadway, but my vague sense is that ticket prices there are nowhere near Broadway levels. Is box office lower in proportion to salaries? Not that I'm opposed to actors, crew and staff being able to make a living at their jobs, just curious if the lower outgo lets productions run on lower income. I.e., is a producer's weekly take in the West End with lower receipts and lower payroll proportionate to what they'd make on the same production on Broadway, or are they just getting richer on the lower costs?
