Wasn't the most recent ON THE TOWN a transfer from Barrington?
I really liked it. It had a superb, rather starry cast and a very impressive physical production, I remember.
The NYSF Delacorte transfer nearly bankrupted the Public, didn't it? (Looking it up, I realize I have totally forgotten that George C. Wolfe ran the Public for ten years! And yet I remembered JoAnne Akalaitas LOL.) |
