I just saw it over the summer at Signature Theater in the DC area. It's now a one-act version that seems to be heavily revised since the Public Theatre production, which I didn't see.
I suppose they could make the switch from Clinton to Harris, but I'm not sure it would add much or do anything more than make it more contemporary. I don't think the property would fare well on Broadway in either case. Just my opinion. |
