I haven't done it in years and always felt anxious about getting caught to the degree that I didn't enjoy the show.
I think the last time I did it was Hands on a Hardbody which just happened to be at intermission after I left a very bad date.
You also would really need to pick a show that you knew would have MANY empty seats and generally if the show has so many empty seats then discounted tickets are not hard to come by.
In general though FAR fewer people smoke so the crowds that used to exit a theater at intermission are greatly diminished, which makes it more difficult. If a dozen people step outside during a show versus one hundred it's kinda obvious who is second acting. |
