Outward Bound -- a play which opened on Broadway in 1924. The play is about people on a ship who don't realize they have passed away.
Leslie Howard played Henry (the guy who had committed suicide) in the original Broadway production.
Howard then played Tom Prior (the guy who doesn't realize his mother is also one of the dead people on the ship) in the 1930 film version |
