A slightly different situation, but Chip Zien, the original Mendel in March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland, started off as Marvin in In Trousers.
Kelli O'Hara originally played Franca in The Light In The Piazza in its Seattle workshop, before taking on Clara when the show moved to Broadway. |
