Howard Miller takes a look at Sump'n Like Wings at Theatre Row for Mint Theater Company:

Sump'n Like Wings, now on stage at Theatre Row, is the latest entry from the always intriguing Mint Theater Company, whose aim it is to uncover, dust off, and produce lost or forgotten plays from the past. This one certainly fills the bill. It was written just shy of a century ago by Lynn Riggs, best known, you might say, as the guy who wrote the play that inspired the musical Oklahoma!. And even that play, Green Grow the Lilacs, is probably remembered more for its title than for its content. If Sump'n Like Wings sits on a lower rung with no Rodgers and Hammerstein to reclaim it, this is still a wonderful opportunity to catch such a rare bird; even in a somewhat knobby production, it manages to fly with only sump'n like wings to keep it aloft.
