| I am curious, is it purely the melody you don't like? Then that means you also don't like Eternal Youth Is Worth a Little Suffering and Surrender? Because in typical ALW fashion...they all share the same melody. Surrender is one of my favorites. I do wish Sunset had more non-repeated melodies. ALW always resues, and often to great dramatic effect! But in Sunset the entire second act only has two new melodies: Too Much in Love to Care and As If We Never Said Goodbye. And dramatically I understand why "..Paying" and "...Suffering" have the same melody, I don't get whay Suddender is the basically the ballad version of that melody. |
