| The Cabaret tour (2000 or 2001, I think, when I caught it in DC) listed the actress standing by for Sally as "Standby for Miss Hatcher". Terri Hatcher, of course, was the star. I don't recall ever seeing a performer listed as covering a performer rather than a role. I know nothing of the rules about those things, but when I noticed it I thought TH must have a big ego and very aggressive agent. BTW, Terri Hatcher was terrific in the part. |
